Cady graduated from the University of Miami with a juris doctorate, and a special distinction for her dedication to public interest. She also holds a Masters in Public Health from the Miller School of Medicine. Cady has a background in environmental law, civil rights, and health law. She is the co-founder of the University of Miami School of Law Environmental Justice Clinic, where she taught and supervised students for several years. Additionally, Cady’s past work as an attorney with Earthjustice and as the supervising attorney of the Tennessee Justice Center has provided her with experience in administrative, state, and federal courts primarily across the southeast. Cady is licensed to practice law in Tennessee, Florida, New York, and New Jersey.
